SUNLIGHT: All Living things Need It To Survive

All living things need to make ATP cellular energy to function and survive, and nearly all living things rely on natural light to power this process in our cells every day. Without sunlight, our bodies deteriorate and become sick and eventually can die. With light and a a burn fat build muscle supplement like UMinus20

For those of us who live in the northern states, you may know what I mean by SAD. Seasonal Affective Disorder. A mood disorder characterized by depression that occurs at the same time every year. SAD occurs in climates where there is less sunlight at certain times of the year. Symptoms include fatigue, depression, hopelessness, and social withdrawal.

Sunlight is a cure but it is so difficult to find it in Indiana during the cold and dark winter days. Today it is sunny outside! That's great! I have been sitting outside today for 30 min. Its fairly warm too, about 45 degrees and for December 17th, that is really warm. The other issue is that the sun is so far away in the winter so its also difficult to capture those sun rays and use them in our bodies.

I have found that other forms of sunlight work well and can get you through those dark days.

Joovv Light

It is device that produces red and near infrared wavelengths of natural light  that stimulates the mitochondria in your cells, the powerhouses responsible for taking light, oxygen, and the food we eat—and turning it into usable energy for our bodies through the process of cellular respiration. I have been using mine for 2 years and it helps with hormone regulation, sleeping, recovery and absorption of vitamins and minerals.

Human Charger

It can be used to increase energy levels, improve mood, increase mental alertness, reduce the effects of jet lag and keep winter blues at bay. I like to use it for jet lag as well as SAD.

Infrared Saunas

Similar to the Joovv light but emits heat. There are many gyms, doctors and spas that have this type of sauna. I have used an infrared sauna for over 8 years and they are great for many different ailments.

All these alternatives are good for year round use. Its also beneficial to those people who work in artificial light all day and can not get out in the sun on a regular basis.

There are many other ways to get the sunlight you need and with technology, there will be many more to come.
